Working on Sunday brings nothing but pain. Pain and broken mugs.
Poor mug, rest in peace

A heterograph?[1]
[1]: I always thought two words that sounded the same were called homonyms, but when I went to make sure, Wikipedia told me otherwise. Heterograph? Never learned that one in school.

Luckily, our department wanted to get rid of the old couch and get a new one. With some rearranging, we were able to fit it in our lab.
Now our lab is complete. Today I christened it with a 10 minute nap. Mmm...
So comfortable
It's asbestos-filled pleather
And next to my desk
Godspeed.

Smart people working over there in Fluka's shipping department.
A bottle inside
Wait, no inner containment
Good combination

Thermal Decomposition05/23/08 @ 11:22PM EST

I learned how to use the furnace for thermal decomposition today. I let it run for a while. Unfortunately, I didn't factor in the fact it's cooling from 950 degrees Celsius into my going home timeframe. It's been like an hour and a half now...
Godspeed.
