About Will and Beyond

Hi! My name's Will.

You probably somehow stumbled across this site, either through my IM profile, you clicking somewhere else on the page after I showed you a picture, or some mean friend of yours played a trick on you and showed you this site. Either way, you're here, and I guess I should tell you where "here" is.

This site you have come across is called Will and Beyond. You may have already known that from the snazzy logo at the top of the page. As the title implies, this is about me...and beyond me. It's mostly for me, but also for people who know me and wanna look at pictures of themselves with me.

History

This page originally started as a place for me to set pictures so I could show to people. It was just a big list of folders which contained big lists of pictures, and you had to click on each individual file to see each picture. Not a whole lot has really changed, but I do my best to make it look somewhat better.

On 4/11/04, I decided to put up more of a real website online, and I used georgio.pcplayground.com, a small piece of webspace I bought years ago when Pcplayground.com was starting up. (I was able to find that date through the use of the "Archives", a history of every update ever made - this can be found on the right side towards the bottom.) Over the months, I have organized pictures, written captions, and tried to do this all within my limited space here on the internet.

New features have been put onto the site to draw more consistent visitors, and more importantly to keep me busy when I'm bored. Such features include: The Chatterbox, The Quote of the Day, the Point System, and more, which you can find by wasting more of your time on the site. For the most part, these features are useless, but do serve the purpose of my site, and in fact the goal of all the internet; killing time.

Eventually on 1/3/05, Will and Beyond 2.0 was launched. This was because I was somewhat unsatisfied with the old site, I had an entire Winter Break to waste, and it gave me a chance to throw in some cool new features to hopefully draw more people.

As of 5/14/05, I changed the site to CSS and XHTML. Basically, it's prettier and faster. New features are rolling out like crazy. The bonus page is home to many and most of these new features, besides the email list and the search feature, which are both on the bottom of the main page.

On 7/17/06, Will and Beyond underwent another redesign.
