American Journal of Potato Research
I’m sure that my research looks just as obscure and esoteric to other people, but I have no words:
What does such research entail?
Discovery/development of new potato varieties: ““AmaRosa,” a Red Skinned, Red Fleshed Fingerling with High Phytonutrient Value”
Potato storage: “An Experimental Study of Pressure Flattening During Long-Term Storage in Four Russet Potato Cultivars with Differences in At-Harvest Tuber Moisture Loss”
Potato preservation: “Resistance to Pathogens of the Potato Accessions from the Collection of N. I. Vavilov Institute of Plant Industry (VIR)”
Potato virii: “Detection and Differentiation of Potato Virus Y Strains from Potato Using Immunocapture Multiplex RT-PCR”
Every field has its niche I suppose, but wow, 89 years of potato research? I’m pretty impressed.

It used to be the Irish Journal of Potato Research until 1845. Took them a few years to get it started up in the States.
