Steve Jobs is Dead?: I would be depressed if I found out that someone had started writing my obituary while I was alive. He has more money than god, so I suppose he'll get over it.
Skip the File Wiping: If you get caught by the MPAA, RIAA, etc. don't erase your hard drive. That's called tampering with evidence, and if you're not good enough to not get caught, you're not good enough to hide that you ever did it. How is this not common sense to people?
Modern Retro Michael Jackson: What would he look like without all that plastic surgery? Ah, just as we all suspected, like a human being. Maybe he'd be sane too?
Zero Punctuation: Braid: I discussed Zero Punctuation prior. I haven't seen too many of the recent ones, since I don't do a good job keeping up with video games, but as I've played a bunch of Braid, I watched and enjoyed it.
Texan Teachers with Guns: This is one of the dumbest things that I've read in quite a while. Some city in Texas is allowing teachers to have concealed weapons?! I guess this is just reason #725221111989 that I will never live in Texas.
Fingerprint Art: Classy portraits using your fingerprints as art. The same company produces art based on your DNA. When I can afford it, I want some of this.
Bell Labs shutting down basic science research: Once the forefront of science research, Bell Labs is pulling the plug on basic science. Excimer's right; the MBAs fucked up.
Facebook: The Movie: Yeah, really. Aaron Sorkin (West Wing, Sports Night) is taking a stab at this. I can't really see any way that this would work, but it will be interesting to see what comes of it.
