When using a meat thermometer, don't leave in a 425C oven for an extended period of time, just put it in the meat for long enough to check the temperature.

In case you can't tell, the plastic covering the dial melted away, and set the thermometer dial in place.

Oh of course; the roast was like $15, not letting that go to waste.

Luckily the plastic didn't melt onto the meat, it just kind of drooped down.

I have a love/hate relationship with your site.

I love it, I can spend hours of time at work going through links you have posted, articles of interest...on and on.
