Video Game Food

I think Will is a wee bit crazy for eating expired rations for a week. However, since I mainly write about video games, I figured I should find some way to combine the ideas of food and video games. I ended up finding something interesting on SomethingAwful. Some gamers are really good at photoshop, as they used video game art and other food images to come up with some clever photos.

Admittedly, I didn't get this one at first (above). What does Gordon Freeman have to do with Life? And why is the word "life" cut in "half"? Oh... Clever.



I never really enjoyed Dead Rising. Though I think I would have been more inclined to play further if I had to beat up zombies with huge pieces of bread. Wonder bread can be your inital weapon. Potato Bread can be an upgrade! ...Am I taking this too far?



Damnit! Now the fanta song is stuck in my head. That is by far the catchiest song in a commercial ever. I can't stand it. Oh, the game referenced here is Final Fantasy XII, but really, let's NOT talk about the awfulness that was that game. I hate you Square Enix!

Will, just so you know, I purposefully didn't pick photos that actually showed good food. I thought that would be way too mean to do to you. Hopefully your feast will be a good and plentiful one.

Very nice post.

I didn't get the HL one 'til you explained it. Sigh. The DR one was good stuff. I wish I could have played it... stupid error! Never played FF12, but I sure do like that Fanta song.

And thanks for avoiding food. I'm okay now though. Mmm real food...
