Before I moved off of Roosevelt Island, I had a ton of leftover food. What to do with it? Let's put it all in a pile, then play Iron Chef! We didn't have a "secret ingredient" that you had to use in all of your dishes, the idea was to just get rid of food. Since I was a college student, the food consisted mostly of things like ramen, macaroni and cheese, and soup. Dianna and I both made 4 dishes, then rated each other based on taste and appearance. She ended up winning.

When I lived on Roosevelt Island, the apartment was really nice. Well it was nice when it was clean. The only complaint I can really make is about the floors. They really sucked. You wonder how floors can suck? Well, when they do not stay on the ground, that is how you know. Here are some pictures of how they would get when it was really humid outside. We would have to have maintenance come in (and they took their sweet time) and tear out the floors and put in new ones. On the plus side, we would get new, clean floors, but it was not worth the trouble.


They would also just break and fall out when they got popped up.

Back on Roosevelt Island, Adam, Chris, Jared and I decided to play some some late night croquet in the soccer field.


Chris should be able to make it through both the wickets and hit the stick in one stroke.

I bet Yan that I could eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's in two minutes or less. He disagreed. If I finish it in two minutes, he pays for the ice cream and gives me $5, if not, I just bought myself some ice cream. Take a look and see if I did it or not.

After enduring the cramped living conditions of the 26th Street dorm at NYU, we decided it was time for a change - we had to leave housing. Unfortunately I had finals 'til really late, so I couldn't be too involved in the apartment searching, however Andrew, Yan and Beck were more free so they took charge. After a couple let downs, they showed me this place on Roosevelt Island. Great apartment as you'll soon see. Nice and big. A little bit farther from campus than the ideal, but it's not all that bad.


And here is my room! Nothing special unfurnished, you'll see how it looks when I get the moved-in pictures posted.

Too lazy to archive March, but I'll get to it soon. Good news! We got an apartment!!! We move in May 2nd. It's an amazing place on Roosevelt Island, just a 35'ish minute ride on the F line, right to campus. Or we can take the tram! Amazing place, everyone must come see it when we move in. And bring us furniture.
Midterms are almost done, just one paper and one test left, then come Friday, I'll be free. Well I should get going, cause I have to go see Yuan soon... Hopefully it will be better this year...
